The Immigration office is located on the 4th Floor in the main police station. The room is air conditioned and the non air conditioned waiting room is provided with hot drinks.

The location is about 1 km from Ming Mong Khon Intersection,on the road to Muang Sam Sip and Ubon Ratchathani (Route No 212). As you travel on this road the entrance is on the right hand side. Opposite the photo shop. As you turn off the main road you enter into a Goverment complex. Continue straight until you see a mini roundabout and turn right. The Police and Immigration building is about 100m on the left hand side. The building has a large 191 number near the top.

  1. I went to the place pictured above on 27 February 2012 and was told that the immigration office was moved. It is now located here: 15.90154, 104.62172 It is 6.6 km north of the old one. It is located on the same side (west) of Rt 212 and the office is in the building behind the large government building that you can see from the road. Turn left from Rt 212 and go left at the roundabout. Turn right and proceed to the smaller building behind main building. The Immigration office is in the smaller building, on the 2nd floor, right side.

  2. Coming from Yasothon. go left on the main Road. You will hit Big C at exactly 2 km, and at nearly 2 more km you will cross a small bridge (if you look to the right you will see the huge lake). At exactly 4km from the turn, you will go left into the govt office complex. The buildings are far back from the road. It's directly accross from Mitsubishi. If you pass the big 7-11 Center on your right, you've gone slightly too far.

There's no sign in English on the main road coming from the south, but you'll see a sign for the Amnat Charoen Land Office. There is a sign in English coming from the north.

Go in and go all the way around to the very last building at the back. (Go left at the circle then make your first right, then right again when you come to the end. Building is on the left.). It's up the stairs above the restaurant, and well marked.

Just remember it's 2km north of Big C and across from Mitsubishi and you can't miss it.

Be warned. Check Thaivisa.com to make sure a Roi Et office hasn't opened up before you make the trip. They've been talking about that for months now, but I don't expect it until 2015.
